Trinity centre, North Ormesby, Middlesbro' -2005 (detail)

The Trinity Centre is an extension of Holy Trinity church and contains meeting rooms and a large hall used for community events.  One of the rooms is named for the architect who died during the building of the centre, the Niven Room.   This is the lower panel of a window commissioned for that room in memory of the architect and to celebrate the regeneration of the local area. The window is in a modern building so the colour and leading are kept to a minimum.  The detailing is etched on to the glass and shows architectural features and references to Middlesbro's past as a fishing port.

The upper panel is green and gold and shows oak leaves.
